The Holiday Drink – The Method

We present a home-style version of a cocktail from our latest drinks list. It's a large-volume prepared mix that's packed full of flavours associated with Christmas time, making it ideal for a celebration. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup for breakfast cocktails, puddings, or for another batch of bikinis.

For the Syrup: Place every items into a pot, heat until it reaches a simmer, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the burner and let it to cool down entirely. Decant to a sterilised bottle, close it keeping it in the fridge, where it will keep for about one month.

To make Premix: Combine the specified liquid ingredients in a large bottle, leave to sit for an hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.

To serve: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base into your cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir gently for one minute until cold. Filter into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch using a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
